Let’s keep our Westchester shopping spree rolling with a trip to Yorktown this morning (in case you missed it, we hit Katonah yesterday and Quirkshop in Peekskill last week). I checked out two Yorktown shops a couple of weeks ago and both have fantastic options for your last-minute holiday shopping needs (or any time of year shopping needs, for that matter).
First up, Wishes in downtown Yorktown.
Wishes is a small shop, but it is absolutely overflowing with goodies for women and girls. From jewelry and accessories to pieces for the home and food items that would be great for gifting, I honestly couldn’t believe how many fantastic options were available in the space.
This cute boutique should absolutely be a go-to for teachers and Mother’s Day gifts and is a great spot to check out for housewarming parties and bridal showers too. They also have really sweet baby options. I’m a big fan and will most definitely be back!

Celtic Aer Gift Shop in Mohegan Lake
If there’s anyone Irish on your gift giving list, you have to check out Celtic Aer, located on the corner of Route 6 and Strawberry Road in Mohegan Lake. They’ve got Celtic jewelry and Irish pottery, gorgeous Aran Sweaters (I want one!), and a really cute baby section. Those tiny ponchos won me over on the spot! They also have a great selection of Irish food—from Irish tea, cookies, and biscuits to candy, jams and brown bread mix.
Located in the very same lot, the owner’s dad has Celtic Farms & Nursery where you can get seasonal plants (like pumpkins, shrubs and Christmas trees), as well as sheds, barns, garages and gazebos.
